Gone To Preaching

I think perhaps the Devil works in the media. I know you can tell I'm old when I say that. Did it occur to you that the first time you ever laughed at adultery was when you watched that most revered of all 30 minute shows on television which became and still is the most watched in all of history and which we will all defend with it "showed us how things were in Korea" (not really if you talk to a veteran.) MASH, I loved the show and still do. Easy never to think about Frank's wife cause she had no face. Maybe we would do us good to put a face on sin. Just a thought.

Out Of My Head

My nieces, sister and I email a lot, almost every day, It keeps the family in touch. I wish my daughter and daughter in law would join in occasionally but its okay, One day we somehow wrote a lot about the naked body and shower curtains vs. glass doors. I am one of the shower curtain persons not wanting to even catch a glimpse of my naked body in the mirror by mistake. One of my nieces chastized me with the old "God made the human body beautiful" argument. I reminded everyone that God only made two "grown" human bodies and as soon as they discovered they were nude they went shopping for leaves.

Wisdom Wasted

My sister is one of the wisest women I know. She once said that when you grow older, when you have raised your children, you know things, you have knowledge and you have gained wisdom. You try to pass it on and no one listens to you and then you die.
